Rumours’ music reputation is by far one of the best on the island. We are especially known for our RnB music, which at the beginning of our history was our main music genre. Although we mainly play mainstream on our nights with our incredible resident DJs Static and STS Michael, we still pride ourselves on having some of the best RnB events in town.
Since our last big renovation in 2014, Rumours has become known to host live Greek events that always end with a few layers of white napkins coating our floors in true bouzoukia style after a night full of rejoicing in Greek music. We bring both popular mainstream entertainers as well as super talented musicians of high musical artistry to give you a true taste of Cyprus and Greece while you dance the night away.
For the last couple of years we have been hosting the popular Mr.Greek event that usually starts around the Easter season, all the way through to the end of the summer and always takes place on Sundays. Always a full house, this event is not for the weak…it is loud, fun, and a little crazy, showcasing a variety of Greek DJs from both Cyprus and Greece.
More recently Rumours has become very popular amongst football fans and on many occasions there is not an empty seat in the house! Always full with our regulars as well as new customers, making reservations quite necessary, we offer delicious platters as well as our a la carte menu alongside our beer buckets and signature cocktails, that only makes the match that much better!
Without a doubt Rumours has some of the busiest nights in town when it comes to any festive holiday. Always a full house and always looking for an excuse to party until the early hours of the morning, we take great pride in our resident DJs who never disappoint and who’s reputation precedes them. We also very often host other national and international DJs to play longside our very own.
We are always a top option for any celebration and that is because we know how to have a good time. As well as our first class music, flavourful signature drinks, delicious a la carte menu and shisha, we also have an option for mouth-watering finger food and nibbles as well as different options on drinks.
Who doesn’t like a bit of retro? In more recent months, we have been hosting a Retro night every few weeks, with the best Retro DJs on the island. This is a night where you really need to put your dancing shoes on as you’ll be grooving to the ‘All Time Classics’ until the early hours of the morning.
